Explained: Jesus The Word of God made flesh

The word of God made flesh.. = Jesus/Yeshua (John 1:1-14+).

You may have heard it said that Jesus is God, but Jesus also referred to God as His Father, but yet also said that He and the Father are One.. (John 10:30).

What?

What does that all mean?

Unless He gives someone a divine revelation, I don’t think it’s something we will ever completely comprehend. Perhaps those of us going to be with Him will be given full understanding, or maybe not. But for now, here is a simile He shared with me to better understand Him/Them.

If you take it literally and think about yourself and your words, your words are an extension of you of your being. They are of you, come from you, but they do not create themselves, you create them. They are not independent of you.

They originate in you, you determine them; They reflect you, your essence, your being.

Your words do your creating. Our words are not our being, but an extension of it. We are our being and our words are an extended expression of us in a different form.

So likewise, or rather the original image, Jesus is an extension of God and His essence and being; He is not independent of God.

He is of God and comes from God, He did not create Himself, but rather was always with God because He is God’s essence spoken. Therefore He is God, just as our voice is the spoken form of our being.
